{"id":5351,"date":"2023-02-06T16:21:19","date_gmt":"2023-02-06T14:21:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.expatfeliu.com\/?p=5351"},"modified":"2023-02-06T16:21:19","modified_gmt":"2023-02-06T14:21:19","slug":"mexico-federal-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.expatfeliu.com\/en\/actualidad\/mexico-federal-law\/","title":{"rendered":"MEXICO: REFORM TO THE FEDERAL LABOR LAW REGARDING VACATIONS"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>On January 1, 2023 in Mexico, the reform of Articles 76 and 78 of the Federal Labor Law, published in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dof.gob.mx\/#gsc.tab=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Official Gazette of the Federation<\/a> on December 27, 2022, called &#8220;Dignified Vacations&#8221; in the draft reform initiative, has entered into force.<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The reform of Article 76 implies a significant <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>increase in the number of vacation days<\/strong><\/span> to which employees are entitled, which in the first year of the contract increases from <strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">6 to 12 days<\/span><\/strong>.
