The 2014 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July and it is expected to have a great impact in this country causing some disturbances in the international mobility management. As a consequence, international mobility services adapt their actions and warn their clients in order to take into account the expected alterations in the fields of immigration, housing, temporary accommodation and household goods moving to Brazil.

The Brazilian government has tried to reduce the visas´ processing time from 45 to 20 days. However, there are a considerable number of applications and so the applicants may have to wait more time. Although the Brazilian authorities have done a considerable effort to change airport infrastructures, visitors will provably have to face long queues to pass through Customs and Immigration controls as none all changes will be ready for the big event.
